Maserhölzer sind Spielereien der Natur und treten entweder in sogenannten Maserknollen, oder in ganzen gemaserten Stämmen auf. Maserknollen sind warzenartige Auswüchse an Baumstämmen, wie man sie oft an Alleebäumen sieht. Eine Anhäufung von “schlafenden” Knospen oder wildes Wachstum von hunderten kleiner Ästen gleichzeitig.
Das mehrfache Einlassen mit Hartöl bietet soliden Schutz und gibt der Holzstruktur Tiefe und Plastizität. Durch die aufwändige Oberflächenbehandlung haben unsere Mühlen eine angenehme samtige Haptik.
